About Me

As a teenager Wendy’s aspiration to live the healthy life was part of her success as a member of the Elite training squad at Stretford AC, joining the ranks with Sharon Colyear and Shirley Strong, Commonwealth medallists. She sprinted to victory as Lancashire AAA Champion 7 years running and her Championship records in 100m and 200m stood for nearly 20 years. She was ranked 5th in UK as a junior 200m sprinter. She still keeps fit but has replaced the track with the Pilates studio and can also be found enjoying a walk on the beach with Fudge , her cockerpoo.

Wendy qualified as a Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and after gaining experiencing within the NHS joined the corporate world where she has had many years of experience as a Business Development Manager and worked as UK Sales Manager for a Sports Nutrition company. With more than a keen interest in Nutrition, Wendy turned her hobby into a fulfilling career and qualified as a Nutritional Therapist before taking up a role as Lead Nutritionist for Win Naturally at St.Georges Park working with Corporate clients, football players and football managers. Her private practise in the North of England attracts clients from many walks of life and includes Premiership footballers, Celebrity clientele and local athletes. Wendy has also worked with eating disorder service and gained valuable experience in this field. Wendy has run many successful weight management groups.

With over 15 years experience in the corporate sector, Wendy understands the stress and pressure and nutritional difficulties encountered in the corporate environment and can use this to an advantage when advising corporate clientele.
Wendy has experience of working with professional football clubs in the UK and Finland and in 2013 season helped the Shakers on their way to promotion as the Nutritionist for Bury FC. She has written articles for National newspapers and magazines and has recently appeared on the Disney channel with Fabrice Muamba. Wendy also ran a successful weight loss class in Lytham St.Annes with success not only with reducing weight, but resulting in reduction in cholesterol levels and blood pressure.

As a Registered Nutritional Therapist Wendy was trained to take the functional approach when consulting with clients and with her recent return to the NHS as a Biomedical Scientist to add additional strength as a Functional Nutritionist.
In 2018, Wendy will be joining forces with the fabulous Inner Power Pilates practise in Lytham St.Annes and will be offering consultations and Nutritional Seminars.


In 2018 I will be hosting two retreats at Amchara in Gozo, a personalized health retreat tailored to your needs and goals. Amchara’s motto is ‘Change for Good’ and have an approach, based on functional medicine, that is used in a supportive and nurturing environment that is called Personalised Health.

The first retreat on April 16th – 20th 2018 will be focussed on cognitive decline, and be called “Action Against Alzheimer’s “ This is a programme put together by Cytoplan and I am a recognised Action Against Alzheimer’s Practitioner. The programme will look at comprehensive lifestyle interventions to help reduce cognitive decline and reduce the risk from developing dementia.

On September the 17th – 21st 2018 I will be hosting “Inflammation “ programme at the retreat. This will be looking at the root causes of inflammation, triggers, dietary interventions and supplementation. Inflammation is the cause of many chronic health conditions like diabetes, cancer, heart disease, arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease eg Crohns Disease and Ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, eczema, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and dementia, including Alzheimer’s.
